Bottom Hole ASSEMBLY INspection

At Mag-Spec we go above and beyond API Standards and customer specified inspection processes. We use Wet Fluorescent Inspection for API and Non-API Threads using residual or active field magnetism to get the best possible inspection. Dry Visible Powder for Inspection of Heavy Weight Drill Pipe Upsets. All threads API and Non-API are thread gaged and calipered to ensure they are with in acceptable tolerances. We will work with our customers to provided data and tolerances on any NON-API threads and partner with any machine shop to provide best quality product thread machining possible.

In shop or field inspections we use drip trays to try and eliminate environmental contamination. At Mag-Spec we try to leave as little as possible environmental foot print to preserve or environment for future generations.
